Observations about our tour of Spain
We arrived at the Madrid airport on Saturday, September 30 at 7:30 am. We boarded the cruise ship at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 5. During the 6 days of touring we were on the move essentially all of the time. A typical day started by getting on the bus at 7:00 am and ending at our hotel around 7:00 pm. We traveled around 600 bus miles and flew the 600 miles from Seville to Barcelona.
The stops and tours were remarkable. We were amazed at the history of each city we visited.

Some observations and impressions:
- The architecture and culture reflects the centuries of history in each city.
- The cities we visited were clean ... shop owners sweeping the sidewalks in front of their stores.
- The people were friendly and helpful ... though very few speak any English.
- There are miles and miles of olive trees everywhere we traveled. Spain is the largest producer of Olive Oil in the world.
