Denver to Madrid
We boarded our flight at 7:00 a.m. in Denver ... Arriving at JFK in New York City at 12:30. Our flight from JFK to Madrid left at 7:30 pm. We arrived in Madrid at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 30.
Sunday - September 30
After getting our luggage and going through entry into Spain, we boarded a bus that took us into the center of Madrid to the Prado Museum. This is a remarkable museum with paintings by many renown artists ... photos were not allowed inside the museum.
The design and architecture of the buildings are much different that those we see in the US.
We then went to the Royal Palace of Madrid where we visited the beautiful and elaborate rooms.
We ended the day back at the hotel with dinner and gelato. ... Finally to bed around 9:00 pm.
