We left for the airport at 9ish. The airport was about an hour away through
Ft. Worth and Dallas. Hertz let us check
in our car at Dallas Love Field. Our
flight home left on time and we arrived in Denver at about 1:30 pm. All was well at home. The sun was shining, and the temperature was
warmer than it was in Texas. It’s always
good to be at home.
Overall impressions: The people in Texas were friendly and helpful
to us. Texas is a big place. We were surprised at how large (population
and geographically) the towns are as compared Colorado. We would like to see the country when the
grass and trees are green, and the flowers are blooming. It’d be beautiful place.
